Have used ALL with Island Rescue (you need to donate to ALL first and they will call in the payment to Island-you do not pay at Island Rescue for the routine spay/neuter). As of 2020, $45 for routine S/N.
ALL coordinates with LICKS (located Kitty Cove Austin Blvd Island Park) for reduction in spay neuters.
ALL also uses Meadow Brook Animal Hospital on Sunrise Highway in Freeport. As of 2017 it is $58.00 plus abortion plus flea medication-they will keep cat overnight. Drop off between 8-9 am. Call hospital to cancel if unsuccessful at trapping. ALL will make appointment but you need to pay Meadowbrook directly.
Group supplies free TNR coupons for certain vet hospitals at certain times of the year. Phone from website is 631-306-4616. Also provides for reduced cost spay neuter for pets. Can be used at L.I.C.K.S. at Kitty Cove
Contact them at 516-883-2000 medical center and ask about TNR. Schedule an appointment and trap the day before and bring cat in that night. Surgery is done next day and you pick up that evening. The cost is $40 (2020) and covers rabies, vaccine, ear-tip and s/n.- does not perform abortions
This is a great website regarding TNR and ferals. The link below is a listing of various TNR programs. They also have a link to a great trap-nighborhood cats tomahawk trap with extra large trigger plate. It is light weight and comes in two sizes. The major drawback to me is the trigger plate is VERY light weight and a raccoon can easily ruin it by bending. The trigger plate, because so thin, is also quite sharp along the edges and cats have cut themselves. If you use this trap (36 inch) for recuperation, make sure to line it heavily with paper.

This small village was one of the first to entertain the idea of TNR. The program is overseen by Barry (516-621-5600), a village employee who wears many hats. The actual trapping, transporting and recuperation is handled All About Spay Neuter. Currently they are using North Shore Animal League for surgery (2017).
Town of Babylon has a low cost feral S/N program. First contact Babylon Animal Shelter (631-643-9270 Director Chris) to complete paperwork of residency and receive certificates. You will receive names of vets that are part of the program. You then need to contact the vets. At this time (2017) the cost to you is $25.00 and includes a rabies shot, ear-tip and surgery. You can also rent traps (two doors) with a refundable deposit.
Before you trap, ask the vet you chose to use if you first schedule an appointment and then trap and cancel if you are not successful or if you trap first and then call for available spots. I buy a straw bale at Chestnut Vale (Agway in Hicksville) on Duffy Ave. You can exit Wantagh Pkwy at Old Country Rd but head out on Duffy to Chestnut Vale, a small brick building for horse supplies and other products. Building is on north side of Duffy. If you come from Rt 106, Duffy is south of train station. The bale is about $13 (2018 winter price) and is about 3 feet long and separates into flakes which you can break apart and put into plastic storage bins or place on floor of doghouse or garage etc. The cats love to snuggle into the straw, it does not soak up water and you just put out with lawn debris in the spring.

Plus employees help you load cart and your car. They do deliver! Website has monthly sales flyer and when you join their store club you get cash rewards to apply to purchases and good sale prices.
